Every transaction classified, every account reconciled, adjusting entries posted. Your books get closed monthly, so the numbers you look at in June are the numbers you can act on in June.
Financial Statements
Income statement, balance sheet, and compiled statements, prepared quarterly and walked through with you on video. Statements you can hand a bank, and actually explain.
Forecasting & KPIs
Cash flow projections, master budgets, and the two or three numbers that actually predict your business. Knowing what happened is history. Knowing what’s coming is leverage.
Payroll Oversight
You keep your payroll provider. I watch it: deposits, filings, worker classification, owner compensation. Most payroll problems I saw at the IRS were classification problems.
Tax Planning
Quarterly, while the year is still open and the number can still change. Entity elections, timing, retirement contributions, purchases. This is where the money actually is.
Tax Preparation
Annual business returns, prepared from books I built. Comfortable with the complicated ones: multi-state filings, like-kind exchanges, and the situations that make other preparers nervous.
Support & Advisory
Email, phone, and Teams video, all year. Call before you sign the lease, buy the truck, or hire the manager. That call is already paid for, and it is worth more than the return.

Years behind on books? Unfiled returns? It is more common than you think and it is fixable. I scope it, quote it, and get you current. Then you start the plan clean.

A tax return tells you what already happened, eleven months too late to change it. A forecast tells you what’s coming while you can still do something about it.
The dotted line is what most businesses track: revenue, roughly, when someone remembers to look. The solid line is what we build: cash position, margin by job, and the tax number, projected forward every quarter.
Audit representation.
If a letter shows up, you don’t open a dialogue with the IRS. I do. You keep running your business.
Here’s what most CPAs can’t tell you: I know what the agent is looking at, because I was the agent. I conducted in-depth field examinations of small businesses across dozens of industries. I trained newly hired revenue agents on how to do it. And I spent my final year in the Special Enforcement Program, working complex fraud and unreported income cases. The hard end of the building.
I know which line items draw attention. I know what a weak substantiation file looks like from the other side of the table. I know what the agent has already decided before they walk in, and what will actually change their mind.
