The Offer

One engagement. Your books, your taxes, and your strategy.

I don’t sell services à la carte, because à la carte is how things fall through the cracks. There is one plan. It covers the whole financial side of your business, and I run every piece of it personally.

002 / What’s Included

The Business Support Plan.

Everything below is in the plan. Not an add-on, not an upsell, not “we can quote that separately.”

Your books, your statements, your planning, and your filings all built by the same person, so nothing contradicts anything else.
  • Monthly bookkeepingEvery transaction classified, every account reconciled, adjustments made. Closed monthly, not scrambled in March.
  • Quarterly financial statementsIncome statement and balance sheet, compiled and explained, so you actually know whether you made money.
  • Quarterly tax planningWe look at the number before the year closes, while there is still time to change it. This is where the money is.
  • Annual tax filingsYour business return, prepared from books I built, structured to hold up under the exam I used to run.
  • Year-round support and advisoryEmail, phone, Teams video. Ask before you sign the lease, buy the truck, or hire the manager, not after.
  • Payroll oversightI monitor and consult on your third-party payroll provider so the filings, deposits, and classifications are right.
003 / The Price
$1,250/ month

Flat. Billed monthly. No hourly surprises, no invoice for asking a question. Catch-up work, if you need it, is quoted separately before we begin.

What it costs to not have this.

On a business doing $500K, this runs about 3% of revenue. Here’s what the other side of the ledger looks like.

One surprise tax bill you didn’t plan for $15K+
An IRS exam handled without an insider $20K+
A year of not knowing which jobs actually make money Unknowable
Missed deductions nobody looked for in time $8K+
The Business Support Plan, all year $15,000

Figures above are illustrative ranges for a business of this size, not a quote or a guarantee. Your numbers depend on your facts.

004 / The Rhythm

How the year actually runs.

You are never waiting until April to find out where you stand.

Twelve monthly closes keep the books true. Four quarterly checkpoints are where the money actually moves, because that is while the year is still open and the number can still change.

The engagement year A twelve-month cycle: books closed every month, with four quarterly checkpoints for statements and tax planning. Q1 Q2 Q3 Q4
12 monthly closes  /  4 quarterly checkpoints  /  1 filing
Monthly

Your books get closed.

Transactions classified, accounts reconciled, adjustments posted. You get a clean set of books every single month, not a shoebox in the spring.

Quarterly

We sit down with the numbers.

Statements land, and we talk through them on video. What’s working, what’s leaking, and what the tax picture looks like from here.

Quarterly

We change the tax number.

Planning happens while the year is still open. Entity elections, timing, retirement contributions, purchases. Decisions made in time to matter.

Annually

Your return gets filed.

No surprises, because we have been watching the number all year. The filing is the last step of a process, not the whole relationship.

Always

You can reach me.

Email, phone, or video. If a decision has a dollar sign attached, call me before you make it. That call is already paid for.

If Needed

I stand between you and the IRS.

If a notice or an exam shows up, you don’t handle it. I do. I know how the file gets built because I used to build it.

005 / Qualification

This isn’t for everyone.

The owners who do well here already believe something specific: that a business big enough to matter is big enough to measure. If that’s you, read the left column. If it isn’t, the right column will save us both a call.

This is for you if

  • You’re an owner-operator. It’s your business and your money on the line.
  • You’re doing roughly $500K a year or more.
  • You’re current on your filings, or willing to get current.
  • You’re comfortable working virtually, and you actually prefer fast replies to a parking lot.
  • You have a goal (growth, income, or an exit) and you want someone tracking the numbers against it.

This isn’t for you if

  • You want a personal return prepared and nothing else. I don’t take individual-only work.
  • You want the cheapest option. There are cheaper options, and they cost more later.
  • You want me to sign a return built on books I’ve never seen.
  • You’re looking for someone to help you hide income. I spent a year catching that. Not interested.
  • You want to talk once a year and be left alone otherwise. That’s what you have now, and it isn’t working.
006 / In Their Words

Owners who made the switch.

  • “Conner Neville is an excellent CPA serving Pensacola and the surrounding area. He took the time to truly listen to the challenges we previously faced, explained our options clearly, and put together a tax strategy that actually made sense for our situation. Working with him felt collaborative and stress-free, and we walked away confident we were on the right path. I would highly recommend Conner to anyone looking for straightforward, thoughtful tax guidance.”

007 / Straight Answers

The questions everyone asks.

Why is it a package? Can you just do my taxes?

No. A tax return is only as good as the books underneath it. If I didn’t build those books, I’m signing my name to someone else’s work, and I won’t do that.

Every return I sign has my license attached to it. Taxes done right require books done right, so the two come together.

Is $1,250 a month worth it for my business?

For a business doing $500K or more, that’s roughly 3% of revenue, for a former IRS Special Enforcement Program agent personally running your books, your tax strategy, and your filings.

Compare it against one surprise tax bill, one audit handled badly, or a year of guessing whether you’re actually profitable. The plan is usually the cheaper line item.

I already have a CPA. Why switch?

When did they last call you back?

Most owners hear from their CPA once a year, in April, after every decision that mattered has already been made. Tax planning only works before the year ends. If your CPA isn’t in the conversation while you’re still making decisions, you’re paying for record-keeping, not advice.

You’re virtual. Doesn’t that make things harder?

The opposite. There’s no office to drive to and no receptionist between us. We work by email, phone, and Teams video, and everything lives in a secure client portal you can reach at midnight if you want to.

In practice, virtual means faster. You get an answer the same day instead of an appointment next Thursday.

Do you outsource any work overseas?

Never. Not one transaction, not one return.

A lot of firms your size quietly ship books and tax prep to offshore processing centers. Your financial data, including bank access, revenue, payroll and your customers, leaves the country and lands with people you’ll never meet. Everything here is done by me, personally.

What if I’m behind on my books or filings?

Very common, and fixable. I scope the catch-up work, quote it separately, and get you current. Then you move onto the monthly plan.

Being behind isn’t a reason to wait. It’s the reason to start. The problem doesn’t age well.

Am I locked into a contract?

No. The pricing agreement is set annually, and it carries two-party, penalty-free opt-out language. Either of us can end it without a penalty.

I would rather you stay because the work is worth paying for than because a contract says you have to. If it stops being worth it, tell me.

Do you take individual tax clients?

No. I work only with small business owner-operators. Your personal return is handled as part of the engagement where it connects to the business, but I don’t take individual-only tax work.

The Next Step

Find out if you qualify.

Five questions, two minutes. If the plan fits your business, I’ll tell you. If it doesn’t, I’ll tell you that too.
